Create a counting journal for Ferco A and B

The steps on how to create a counting journal for Ferco A and B.

(Go to Retail store management workspace > Outlet & Hub work > Counting)


Step 1
Create a journal - Click on '+New'




Step 2
Setup your journal by adding Description, Warehouse and employee

(Counting Ferco A – Warehouse = HUB, Counting Ferco B – Warehouse = HUB-B)




Step 3
Press 'Create lines' then 'On hand'





Step 4
Create on hand journal counting lines – Parameter/filter setup

Setup for parameters must be like picture below > Go to Records to include > Filters






Step 5
Setup your filter

(when filter has been set – click OK in the view + OK in the Create on hand journal counting journal view to generate On hand counting lines)

Step 6
Counting of items

(This is a manual count, so you might want to export the journal to excel and type in the result afterwards)

Add your result in the column “Counted” and if you have either a gain or a loss make sure to add description for the deviation.

(You can change Reason code when needed – find information about reason codes here: Cost centers/Counting reason codes – Pick-up Point & Store )




Step 7
Nearly done

When all results has been updated in the journal – Finalize the counting by Posting the journal
