Your store is divided in zones, and you can scan everything, not concerning about item groups
You can find your store drawing here:
X:\Retail\1. Stores\ALL store drawings\Inventory plans
• You have the possibility to divide your zones into smaller areas. E.g. “Scandinavia studio”, “CC
racks”, “Metal cubes front” and so on.
• The big advantage is, you can scan all items, furniture, cc items, pillows etc. in a row, and you have
the scanning history on your scanner.
• You agree with your colleague, who is scanning which zone
• Do the scanning systematic, from the left upper corner and going to the right side. You scan all
items you meet on your way.
• An example of the zones in Cph-111 ground floor:
Tips and tricks before full inventory/partial counting
• At all time: be in control with your stock
• Make sure your scanner is fully charged. If the battery runs low on battery, you will get warnings,
but eventually the scanner will turn off.
• Be sure to receive store deliveries correctly
• Discard and throw out immedeately when you have broken items
• Make sure you have the right tags / prices on furniture and items
• Follow up on your E-stock location (Exhibition)
• Clear and tidy your stockroom
• Store outlet, remember to transfer ”C” collies, and make a serial number relationship with the main
collie
• Go through all differences in your Simulation after finishing the counting and correct mistakes
before posting the journal.
• If you don’t make the simulation, and just post, you will reset your stock, meaning all “0” lines will
disappear from your stock/list. You will lose everything you haven’t counted.
• Have an eye on the "loss and gain" in the journal before posting. Does it looks correct?
• So be absolutely sure that everything is ok before you click “Post”
After you are all done, go to your Account 2050:
• Check your lines.
• Check out what you have lost.
• You are still able to correct if you find mistakes, do the correction in "Inventory Adjustment"
