How to search in the On-hand
Explanation of filters
• Available physical: Everything on the stock, besides reserved items. Could be items in click&collect
orders, items in open outlet journals ect
• Physical inventory: Everything on the stock
• Item number: The item number you want to filter for
• Warehouse: The warehouse you want to filter for
• Serial number: Can be ‘Store’ if you want to see only what is on the main stock.
• Search name: Here you can simply write the name you want to filter for, ex: Scandinavia
Explanation of dimensions
• Item number: The whole item number for the item
• Product name: Official name of item
• Warehouse: Which warehouse the item is under
• Location: Will always show ‘InStore’ when you search for stock in the stores
• Serial number: If the item is on the main or exhibition stock it will show ‘Store’. If it’s on the outlet, you will see the serial number
Inventory status:
• Physical inventory: The quantity of your whole stock
• Physical reserved: The quantity of items that is reserved. For example a click&collect
• Available physical: The quantity of what is available to sell/use now
Examples
Search for item numbers and see everything on your stock
I want to search for all sofas on my stock.
Fill in ‘1’ under ‘Physical inventory’ – This is important so you can only see what is on your stock.
If you don’t fill this in, you will also see all incoming transaction lines, lines from open journals etc.
Fill in the item number you want to filter for.
Fill in your warehouse. In this case I just chose ‘CPH-117’ so I can see everything, also the B and E stock.
Now I can see all sofas on my stock both on the outlet, the exhibition and main stock.
Search by name
You can also search in the on-hand by name
In this example I simply filled in ‘Grape’ in the search name.
Search for items in other stores
Sometimes we have customers that ask for a specific furniture you maybe don’t have in your store. You can search for what other stores have.
Change the warehouse to only the initials for your country and put in a star. In this case to see all
Copenhagen stores I filled in ‘CPH*’
N.B. It’s always a good idea to call the store and confirm that they have the furniture/item before we send
the customer to another store. There can be mistakes in the stock.
