Introduction
This article explains how to calibrate the label printer when you experience blank labels between printed labels.
Blank labels usually appear when the printer cannot detect where each label starts and ends. This happens when the printer has not been calibrated for the new label roll.
Why do blank labels appear between prints?
Blank labels appear because:
- The printer does not recognize the start and end of each new label
- The label length is not calibrated
- A new label roll has been inserted without calibration

Calibrating the printer fixes this by teaching it the correct label size.
How do I calibrate the label printer?
Follow the steps below to calibrate the printer:
1. Locate the two buttons on the front of the printer
There is one button on the left and one on the right.
2. Press and hold both buttons
Hold both buttons for a few seconds until you hear the printer start to print or feed labels.
3. Wait while the printer prints several labels
The printer will print a few labels automatically.
This process allows it to detect:
- Label size
- Label spacing
- Start and end positions
4. Calibration completes automatically
Once the printer stops printing, calibration is finished.
Does the printer need a restart after calibration?
No restart is required.
After calibration, the printer should:
- Stop printing blank labels
- Print labels correctly and continuously
