Delivery/selling methods

This guideline will explain the different delivery/selling methods available in Bolia

Furniture delivery
When we sell bigger furniture, the furniture must be produced when the order is made. Therefore there is
a longer delivery time on these products. When we sell these items the customer can choose between
having it delivered for a service fee or picking it up themselves at the HUB/warehouse closest to them.

Express delivery
We have the express solution on many smaller furniture, like lamps and small benches. This method is
faster than normal delivery, approximately 2-7 working days, depending on country. The story behind this
is that we have a small warehouse with bestsellers of smaller furniture already on stock and ready for
delivery.
Be aware that the express orders will go to the country’s online sales channel and not the store’s. The
turnover from this will be visible to online sales.

Click&Collect
Click&Collect is an option for the customers when they are sitting at home and want to reserve and buy
smaller items. This is instant items they can choose to buy. Therefore, it’s important to always have control over your exhibition stock so customers can’t order lamps that is already mounted in the store as
click&collect.
If you have a customer in the store that wants an item you don’t have in the store, you can always check if
another store has it and place it as a click&collect with the customer in that store.

Instant item
We can sell small items directly in the store as instant items. This is when the customer get the item to take home right away. You can sell instant items by either scanning the item into the basket or choose ‘Put in basket’ on the item on the website. Sometimes this option will not be available. Therefore you can copy the EAN number.
Find the specific item and go to specifications. Copy the EAN-number and paste it into the barcode line in
the basket.

Outlet item
The outlet items are when we want to sell our furniture from the showroom. To sell outlet items in your
store you can either scan the outlet label you made for the furniture. Or go to ‘Online outlet’ on the
website, find the item you want to sell and copy the serial number in the browser. Paste it into the barcode line in the basket.

If the outlet item is in a HUB warehouse you can sell it in any store and add it normally to the basket. These items can be delivered or picked up quite fast.
